Pipeline presents two solo exhibitions of new works, all of which have been created on site

Goat Vision and Silent Auction

18 – 22 March 2017 12 – 6 pm |   Private View Friday 17 March 6 – 9 pm

James Tabbush: Goat Vision in Gallery 1
Kate Lennard: Silent Auction in Gallery 2

Goat Vision stages a dual-screen video installation in Pipeline’s main gallery space, marking the first presentation of the artist’s video
works. Emerging from a long process of research into children’s television, folk and religious music, James Tabbush uses digital effects to
enact the ancient ritual of a ‘goat song’.

Silent Auction is a site-specific installation that explores the valueof personal memory through object and performance. Kate Lennard has created a fantasy auction house inspired by her experience of attending the David. Bowie Collectors Auction at Sotheby’s in 2016. During her residency in the basement space, Lennard catalogued objects, moving images and photographs, performing as various characters influenced by her time at this location.
