Playground, split painting, 2 * 60 x 90 cm, 2014
My split painting is an act of reunion if which the reality coexist with the daydream. It is the juxtaposition of different materials, mood and mode of action – solid block of memories that somehow allow for lightness. Seen from a distance the painting is an abstract composition that suggests object-hood rather than representation. From close it becomes the juxtaposition of small piles of paint and marks overlapping with written words, arrows and crossed lines.
